Thank you to all who made the trip to Olympia for Catholic Advocacy Day on Thursday February 23, 2006 and made this event a success.  Now it is time to thank your Legislators for meeting with you and listening to your concerns about child care, health care, Medicaid premiums and low-income housing. 

200 participants from all over Washington met at the Capitol for prayer, a program, and a legislative briefing, highlighted by an address from Bishop Eusebio Elizondo, M.Sp.S., Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Seattle.  Contact your Legislators to thank them for hearing your issues and to encourage them to keep your concerns in mind as they continue working in the 2006 Legislative Session.
