The Legislature reached agreement on the supplemental budget and adjourned on Wednesday March 8th, one day ahead of schedule for the first time in twenty years.  It is often the case in supplemental budgets that very little funding is appropriated for additional services.  The WSCC was very pleased to see that the final budget contained funding for most of the services and programs we supported. Without the efforts of citizens like you, however, many services for the poor would not have found their way into the final budget.  Legislators DO listen to their constituents.
